Servall

Servall, a fourth-generation family business specializing in commercial linens, uniforms and more, has become a cornerstone of Rapid City, the Black Hills and beyond. With a deep-rooted commitment to quality, service and community involvement, the company is led by Brad Dudley and his son Chase. Together, they embody the values of a family-owned business that places people — customers, employees and the community — at the heart of everything they do.

The company’s legacy began with Brad’s grandfather, a World War II veteran who earned the respect of military leaders, including U.S. Army Chief of Staff, General George Marshall, for his outstanding laundry services. After the war, he returned to civilian life with a vision: to provide that same high-quality laundry service while building lasting relationships with customers. This vision continues to guide Servall’s operations to this day, with exceptional service remaining the defining characteristic of the company’s identity.

At the core of Servall’s heart of service is its unwavering focus on meeting the unique needs of each of its customers. Offering a broad range of services, from industrial laundry and flame-resistant garments to customized linens, floor mats, restroom supplies and much more, Servall tailors its solutions to each client’s specific needs. Whether serving a local restaurant or a large industrial client, the company ensures the highest quality and unparalleled service. “We want to take care of our customers for years, not just days,” said Brad, emphasizing the importance of nurturing long-term relationships over short-term gains.

Commitment to people — both inside and outside the walls of the company — is also what distinguishes Servall. This philosophy extends to its employees, many of whom have been with the company for decades. “When our team feels valued, they go above and beyond,” said Chase, underscoring the importance of fostering a supportive culture.

Servall also actively values people through its ongoing support of local organizations. From the YMCA to Habitat for Humanity to the Humane Society, and more, Servall believes in reinvesting in the communities it serves. “The places where we live and work are important to us,” Brad explained. “We want to see them thrive.” The Dudleys are also committed to stewarding the natural resources of the Black Hills community. This includes investing in green technologies and sustainability initiatives.

Looking toward the future, Chase is increasingly taking on a more prominent leadership role, and is focused on continuing the family tradition of exceptional service that has defined Servall for over 80 years. “I couldn’t imagine driving by one day and not seeing the Servall name on the front of the building,” Chase shared. “It’s more than just a business — it’s part of our identity, and we want to keep it going for future generations.”

With its deep-rooted commitment to quality, service and community, Servall is well-positioned to continue its legacy. The Dudleys remain steadfast in their mission to make a positive, lasting impact on their customers, employees and the community, ensuring that the Servall name will be synonymous with trust and excellence for generations to come.
