To accomplish this hyper-focused attention to detail, Josh dedicates his time to one custom home at a time — a rare approach in the construction industry.
“I really enjoy the process of meeting people and doing the best for them,” Josh says. “I always say, I’m here for 9 to 12 months, and then the rest of the time, this is yours — this is your house, not mine.”

Josh’s success in building some of the most spectacular custom homes in the Black Hills hasn’t come overnight. He has been honing his craft since he was barely a teenager. But beyond his dedication to quality craftsmanship, Josh points to his loving family as the real source of his success. “My incredible wife of 14 years, Karie, has been there in the best and the not-so-fun times — through it all, supporting and loving me. And our two girls, Jeyda and Samara, are so full of life,” Josh shares with a smile. “Without my girls, none of this would be worthwhile.”
