We’re Matt and Greg Ketel, a father-son team at Edward Jones, and we’re passionate about helping people in our community reach their financial goals.
I (Greg) found my true calling as a financial advisor after a career in production management. After earning my MBA and joining Edward Jones in 2014, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients navigate the world of investing. The work ethic I developed living in the Black Hills and growing up around family businesses has been invaluable in my role today.
Matt, my son, joined Edward Jones in 2022 after earning his degree in mining engineering from South Dakota School of Mines in 2013. His years working in Arizona’s copper mines has given him a practical, results-driven approach that serves him well as a financial advisor.
Matt and I are especially proud of our recent achievements: I earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification this year and Matt is a candidate for CFP® certification and will achieve full certification in 2025. According to our region leader, we became the first father-son duo in Edward Jones history to pass the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® exam on the same day.
We’re also blessed to be supported by Jamie Dubbelde, our Senior Branch Office Administrator, who has been with us since 2016. Jamie’s dedication to exceptional service and her ability to manage the day-to-day operations of our office ensures that we can focus on what matters most — our clients.
When we’re not serving our clients, we love spending time outdoors in the Black Hills with our families. Matt enjoys boating, fishing and cooking on his smoker, and I’m always up for a run or a hike through the Hills.
